Last night I was visiting friends for a cozy dinner. When we started the aperitif the host brought out a bottle of Opius Amaro. He mixed it with a bit of orange juice and sparkling water and served it with a slice of grapefruit. I had never heard of Opius Amaro before but after one sip I was sold. The fresh citrus notes and light bitterness made it the perfect start to the evening. Everyone at the table was excited and by the end of the night we had already shared the recipe in the group chat. Last Saturday I wanted to do something special for my partner and organized a cozy date night at home. For the aperitif I wanted to serve a surprising cocktail and chose a mix with Opius Amaro ginger ale and a sprig of rosemary.
